Burning
Regulations and Permits Burning Regulations are in now effect and Burn Permits are required. You can get further information
and obtain a free permit from Fire Wardens George & Barb Zima
(479-4669), the DNR Ranger Station adjacent to the County Highway Dept.
(479-4771) or at Knitts Hardware in St. Germain. Even with a
permit, before you burn, you are required to either call 888-947-2876
(Vilas Co. is #64) or log onto the
DNR Burn Conditions website to see if any emergency bans
have been imposed.
Periodic notices of
meeting agendas, minutes and other significant town activity
will be e-mailed to those who subscribe
to the updates. Your e-mail address will be protected and not appear
