The Town of Cloverland allows residential and commercial use of arrow signs at various road intersections throughout the Town subject to the following conditions:

Arrow signs shall be made from wood and must conform to the design, size, printing and color as described in the specifications and the diagram at the end of this policy.

Arrow signs are for directional use only and shall not contain advertising or offensive material.

If non-conforming signs are constructed, the signs will be removed by the Town without prior notice.

New arrow signs shall be installed on existing arrow sign support posts if room allows.

New arrow sign support posts shall not be erected without prior approval of the Town of Cloverland Plan Commission or the Officer or Representative designated by the Town of Cloverland Board. This is to ensure that there are no negative visual impacts or that the location will not negatively affect safe traffic flow.

Installation of all arrow signs and posts will be the responsibility of the property/sign owner. Town Officials may require installation of arrow signs and posts by their contractor. All costs associated with Town installation will be borne by the property/sign owner.
