A Joint Action Emergency government Ordinance between the county of Vilas and the municipality of the Town of Cloverland to cope with civil defense emergencies resulting from enemy action and with emergencies resulting from natural disasters.

The municipality of The Town of Cloverland does ordain as follows:

Section 1 - A Joint Action Ordinance of the board of supervisors of Vilas County providing for a county-municipal joint action emergency government plan of organization was adopted by said county board on the 17th day of April, 1973. A copy of said County Ordinance is attached hereto and made a part hereof, by reference, and is hereby ratified and accepted by the municipality of the Town of Cloverland, county of Vilas.

This ratification and acceptance of the Joint Action Ordinance shall constitute a mutual agreement between the Town of Cloverland and the County of Vilas, as provided by Section 3 of said Joint Action Ordinance

Section 2 - The County Emergency Government Director, appointed and employed by the Vilas County Board as provided in the referred Ordinance is hereby designated and appointed Emergency Government Director for the Town of Cloverland, subject to the conditions and provisions as set forth in the Wisconsin Statutes and the Vilas County Joint Action Ordinance.

Section 3 - All ordinances and/or resolutions in conflict with this ordinance are hereby repealed.

Section 4 - This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage and publication.
