Traffic Speed Zones
- Ordinance 6.01 Section 1: Title/Purpose This ordinance is entitled the "Town of Cloverland Traffic Speed Zones Ordinance". The purpose of this is as follows: To set and regulate traffic speed zones within the jurisdiction of the Town of Cloverland. Section 2: Authority The Town Board of the Town of Cloverland has the specific statutory authority, powers and duties, pursuant to the specific statutory sections noted in this ordinance and/or by its adoption of village powers under Sec. 60.10 (2000-2001) Wis. Stats., to regulate, control, prevent and enforce against certain uses, activities, businesses and operations by persons that may affect the traffic in the Town of Cloverland. Section 3: Adoption of Ordinance The Town Board of the Town of Cloverland has, by adoption of this ordinance, confirmed the specific statutory authority, powers and duties noted in the specific section of this ordinance and has established, by these sections and the ordinance, the regulations, controls, and enforcement against certain uses, businesses and operations by persons that may affect the traffic in the Town of Cloverland. Section 4: General Provisions The Town of Cloverland establishes, by this ordinance, in compliance with Chapters 66.0114, 345.20 through 345.53, 349.06 and 346.57 (2000-2001) Wis. Stats., the following maximum speed limits on the following public highways in the Town of Cloverland: A. 25 mph: 1. Maple Lane 2. Cloverland Drive 3. Camp 12 Road 4. Pickerel Point Lane 5. Aspen Lane 6. Singer Road 7. Zeiss Road 8. High Point Road 9. Evergreen Lane 10. Wilderness Trail from Musky Rd to the dead end 11. Vlach Road 12. Oak Lane 13. Creek Road 14. Deer Trail 15. Moonlite Drive 16. Wilke Road 17. Wolter Drive 18. Olson Road 19. Schultz Road B. 30 MPH. 1. Old Hwy 70 (south of state hwy 70) 2. Shady Lane 3. Old Hwy 70 (north of state hwy 70) 4. River Road 5. Dad's Lake Road 6. Birchwood Drive C. 35 MPH 1. Boot Lake Road (from West Road to the end) 2. West Road 3. E. Hunter Lake Road 4. Star Lake Road 5. Balsam Lane 6. Musky Road 7. Zeman Road 8. Lotus Lane 9. Wilderness Trail (from STH 70 to Musky Road) 10. Perch Lake Road 11. Sunset Road 12. Pickerel Lake Road D. 45 MPH 1. Boot Lake Road (to West Road)
