RESOLUTION 2008 – 06 Per Diem

WHEREAS, the per diem policy is Attendance per diem reimbursement is $50.00 per half a day, and $75.00 for a full day or a meeting exceeding 4 hours in length.  A total per diem shall not exceed $75.00 per day. Meeting with the towns attorney, gas, phone, electric companies, DNR, D.O.T, state and county supervisors and employees you get paid a per diem to meet with.

WHEREAS, at the Annual Meeting of Electors, the Electors voted to give the town board a per diem for all town projects. The Electors also voted to give Marty Ketterer per diem of $50/half-day and $75/full day for working on the fire number project. If any supervisor works over 250 aggregate hours than a per diem  of $50.00 for a half day and $75.00 for a full day.   That authorization would be for a specific amount of time and not be authorized for longer than one year.

WHEREAS, the meetings that are not part of the per diem policy are the monthly board meeting, any special meetings from the monthly meeting, annual, and budget meetings public hearings,.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Cloverland Town Board of Supervisors in session this 2nd day of July 2008 that this will be the standing rule for per diems.
