Resolution 2011 - 04 RESOLUTION
OF THE TOWN OF CLOVERLAND (a)
Purpose. (1)
Section 5.15, Wis. Stats. requires all cities, villages and towns with a
population of one thousand (1,000) or more to establish municipal wards
based on the results of the 2010 census. Section 59.03(3)(6), Wis. Stats.
requires that each county board adopt and transmit to each
municipal governing body in the county a tentative county supervisory
district plan, dividing the county into districts and designating
the approximate location and population of each ward proposed to
effectuate the division of the county into districts. These laws
require that each municipality designate by consecutive whole number,
geographical description and population, the various wards to
be created within the municipality. (b)
Whereas: The Town of Cloverland has a population of 1029 is required to
establish 2 wards in the town with close to equal population in (c)
Adoption of Wards. The Town
of Cloverland adopts the wards described as Follows in ward 1 and ward 2. (1)
Ward 1. Population 521. Polling Place: 5860 Perch Lake Road. A
portion of the town bordering to the North of the centerline of County Hwy
G at the west Town Line bordering with St. Germain going East to Sunset
Road then going south on Sunset Road East of the centerline of Sunset Road
to State Hwy 70 then east on State Hwy 70 north of the centerline of State
Hwy 70 to the eastern town line bordering with the town of Lincoln. Further

G at the west Town Line bordering with St. Germain going East to Sunset
Road then going south on Sunset Road West of the centerline of Sunset Road
to State Hwy 70 then east on State Hwy 70 south of the centerline of State
Hwy 70 to the eastern town line bordering with the town of Lincoln. Further

Combined Wards. All Wards created above are hereby combined for
voting purposes, so as to share the common polling place indicated, The town clerk shall properly post or publish this resolution as required under s. 60.80, Wis. stats. Adopted this 12 day of July 2011 |
