What is ahead - what is needed - in 2011

2011 Goals for Cloverland’s lake management efforts were discussed and developed last fall by the Town Lakes Committee and Cloverland residents


Consensus formed around these ideas:


• Focusing on volunteerism was seen as very important. “2011, Year of the Volunteer” is being considered as a theme to encompass all the goals chosen for the townwide management plan.


  1. •The top three goals were

  2. -water quality monitoring,

  3. -AIS monitoring

  4. -continuing education to support these goals


When the Town Lakes Committee reconvenes on Feb. 9, its agenda will center on moving forward with these goals
