Cloverland Town Lakes Committee
Vilas County, WI
Upcoming workshops & meetings
Through the following programs we hope to help any friends of Cloverland lakes increase their understanding and ability to keep our lakes healthy.
Each person who attended any of the sessions last summer earned In-kind hours needed for the CLASS AIS grant. The same will be true for attendance at sessions and meetings held this year.
Remaining sessions for 2010:
AIS Lake Monitoring - Ted Ritter, Vilas County Invasive Species Coordinator
Saturday, July 24, 9-11 A.M.
On-water Aquatic Plant Sampling - Sandy Wickman, Wisconsin DNR
Friday, August 6, 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Join the group on pontoon boats on Pickerel Lake learning to do the sampling that Onterra conducted on all CLASS lakes last summer. We want to give people on all our lakes a chance to do this so it limited to those who did not attend this popular session last year. Reservations are required!! Call Justine White-Richards at
715-479-1187 or email her at jrwrtravelnurse@frontiernet.net.

Cloverland Town Lakes Committee meetings begin at 9 a.m.
They are usually held on the second Saturday of each month.
The upcoming meeting is on August 14. It is especially important since everyone present will be able to discuss what the townwide lake management goals for Cloverland should be.
Town Lake Committee meetings and most CLASS workshops are held at the Cloverland Town Hall at 5860 Perch Lake Road, between Sunset and Zeman roads, just north of Hwy 70.
